If you are registered and logged in check out user control panel. Just click on your name top right, and select user control panel from the drop down box, here you can control a lot of stuff in particular the way posts are ordered. Go into board preferences, edit dispay options. Try setting it to descending, I find that works for me so the latest stuff is at the top and not 3 pages deep.
